About Us

At St. Peter’s we strive to love God with our whole hearts and our neighbors as ourselves. Our mission is to make the relentless and never ending love of God known to those around us.

We’re a church with 125 years of history, but we continue to learn, serve and grow in today’s world.

Our Vicar

Father Rob began serving as Vicar (Pastor) of St. Peter’s Church in October, 2015. Before coming to St. Peter’s, Fr. Rob, served as the Assistant Rector at St. Johns Cathedral in Quincy. Before moving to Quincy in 2011 Fr. Rob ministered to basic training soldiers at The Chapel of Christ the King in Fort Jackson, South Carolina and worked as the Sunday morning coordinator at Church of the Apostles, Columbia, South Carolina. He has also served as a Director with National Management Resources at Quincy University.  He is a native of Ravenna, Ohio, a small town in the northeast part of the state and he and his wife Jennifer have two children.

Our Church

There are over 80 million Anglicans worldwide. We are a member parish of the Diocese of Quincy of the Anglican Church in North America.

Our Faith

Our tradition is grounded in the Bible, is ancient yet contemporary, and faithful to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our statement of faith is the Apostles‘ and Nicene Creeds.

Our Worship

We worship according to the Book of Common Prayer, which guides us so we can pray and worship together in unity. It also helps our visitors follow along with what we’re doing. We’re happy to answer any questions as well. Find out more about visiting us on a Sunday…
